FRIDAY

9:00am, GLLI XXI begins, vendor area open, 3D courses open

12:00pm – 4:00pm, B4K kids aerial shoot, Main Events field

2:00pm – 6:00pm, Denny “Old Sagamore” Every’s Turkey Shoot

6:00pm, vendor area closes

 

SATURDAY

9:00am, vendor area and 3D courses reopen

9:00am – 12:00pm, Turkey Shoot in the Main Events field

12:00pm – 2:00pm, B4K Kids aerial shoot, Main Events field

1:00pm – 5:00pm, Turkey Shoot

2:00pm, Clout Shoot in the Main Events field

3:00pm, Silver Arrow Competition in the Main Events field

6:00pm, vendor area closes

7:00pm, Live entertainment by the band Trinity in the Village Green

6:00pm – 8:00pm, Turkey Shoot

9:30pm, Creatures of the Night Torchlight Hunt

 

SUNDAY

9:00am, vendor area and 3D courses reopen

9:00am, Non-denominational church service

9:00am – 10:30am, Turkey Shoot

11:30am, Turkey Shoot sudden-death shoot off

11:00am – 2:00pm, B4K kids aerial shoot

12:00pm, 3D courses close no starts after noon

12:45pm, Scholarship Awards presentations

1:00pm, Raffle

2:00pm, GLLI XXI ends

 

These axes will be raffled off at the Great Lakes Longbow Invitational.

This custom "GLLI 21" knife was donated to the MLA courtesy of  Paul Harm.  This knife, and many other great items will be part of a raffle at the Great Lakes Longbow Invitational.

Information from last years 2004 GLLI XX:

This "GLLI XX Commemorative Axe" will be raffled off at the GLLI.

GLLI XX Highlights

  • On going bow building with Gary Davis at the Green & white canopy.
     
  • On going flint knapping with Don Gilson & the Michigan Flintknappers at the Green & white canopy.
     
  • Friday the 13th Shoot (When darkness falls Friday night).
     
  • Saturday 1:00 p.m. - Moment of silence in remembrance of passed members and US Military serving in our war on terror.
     
  • Saturday 2:00 p.m. - Clout Shoot ($3.00 entry fee).
     
  • Saturday 3:00 p.m. - Our famous Silver Arrow Shoot.  Who will be proclaimed the "Best archer in the land"??? ($3.00 entry fee).
     
  • Ten 4 Kids Megaraffle drawing following the GLLI raffle.
     
  • Turkey Shoot Schedule:

Friday:     2:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.

Saturday: 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.
                 1:00p.m. -  4:00p.m.
                 7:00p.m. until dark

Sunday:    9:30am - 11:30am
                (12:00pm - Noon) Sudden death shoot off.

  • Benefit 4 Kids Aerial Shoot Schedule:

Friday and Saturday: 12:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.

(except during the Clout and Silver Arrow competitions Saturday).

Sunday: 11:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.

  • Sunday 9:00 a.m. - A morning church service will be provided by the Christian Bow Hunters of America.  It will be located at the church in the Charlton Park village.  For additional info, please contact John Vasos.
