MLA Spring Shoot and Membership Meeting
The can’t miss event for Michigan Longbow Association members and their families. There is no better way to start the 2024 archery season. This is a free shoot and one of the benefits of your membership. This is also the perfect opportunity to hear essential MLA news and vote on MLA issues.
Compton Traditional Bowhunters Rendezvous
For a fun filled weekend with the family, come out to Berrien Springs Sportsman's Club for the Compton Traditional Bowhunters Rendezvous. Vendors, specialty shoots, seminars, camping and of course lots of 3-D shooting on 4 3-D ranges.
Annual Pine River Recreation Club Stick Bow Shoot. (Elm Hall)
Elm Hall is one shoot you must experience to appreciate. With both 3D and broadhead targets, and courses arranged in a realistic setting, it is a pleasure to shoot. Saturday evening dinner for campers, novelty shoots, and campfires round out this traditional event.
Great Lakes Longbow Invitational 2024
The Great Lakes Longbow Invitational is the granddaddy of all traditional shoots. It has the distinction of being the first gathering of it’s kind in the modern archery era. It was then and is today a truly wonderful experience and we invite you to come and share it with us.
MLA WINTER BANQUET
Come join us to celebrate the longbow, participate in our raffles and auction, and acknowledge the accomplishments of our members in 2023. This is a can’t miss event with all of the MLA family.

Barryton Stick Bow Shoot 2023
If you enjoy the fellowship of the longbow and recurve. Please consider checking out this shoot. It is fun for the entire family. Kids course, camping, hog roast, and of course plenty of 3-D and indoor targets, need we say more.
Michigan Bow Hunters Rendezvous
Not just for modern archers, if you hunt in the great state of Michigan, consider heading up to Harrison for this years MBH Rendezvous. It is also a great way to show others how much fun longbow archery can be.

Event Activities
Every year is a memorable one in the MLA, and the stories accrued throughout, whether at the range or in the woods, are relived here amongst friends and family. It is a wonderful time for reflection and an even better time to think about the future, which is always bright in our case. You'll eat, you'll laugh, and you'll be sorry to leave when its time to shut the doors.

North American Game Shoot and Swap Meet
Held at beautiful Tomahawk Archers in Temperance, Michigan! Come one, come all. Shoot, mingle, and swap!
A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Michigan Longbow Association!
Kalamazoo Traditional Bowhunter's Expo
If you are AT ALL interested in Traditional Archery, this is a must attend. Archers and bowhunters alike gather from across the nation to attend this event, which is a culmination of vendors, organizations, and celebrity speakers. In 2017 there will be a competitive 3D competition within another wing of the Expo center. Archers from all over will compete for prizes. There is nothing like this for the archery enthusiast looking to brush the snow off their bow.
MAQ Thursday Archery Porch League
This takes place every Thursday until September 16, 2021. Starts at 6 p.m. at Royal Oak Archers.
MLA at Muskegon Bowman
Join your MLA family at Muskegon Bowman Archery Club in Muskegon for a fun day of 3D shooting and socialization!
20th Annual Tennessee Classic
About the Club: Twin Oaks Bowhunters is an archery/hunting club located near Clarksville, TN.The club is the home of the Tennessee Classic and hosted the IBO Traditional World Championships from 2010 – 2012. Twin Oaks sits on 400 acres of beautiful Tennessee hardwood.The club consists of 25 members and the gates are open for visitors on most all Friday – Saturdays throughout the year.
The Longbows of August Tailgate
A chance to make up for everything we missed!!! Check out this unique event being held in two different locations across the state on the SAME day. Pub-crawl style fun with your council. Choose your location and lets have a ball!
Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous 2020
E.T.A.R. is held at Ski Denton. This shoot is known world-wide as one of the largest Traditional Archery events of it’s kind. We typically draw over a hundred dealers that includes bowyers from all over the US and sometimes overseas...
Pine Hill Traditional Shoot 2020
We have MLA friends in Pennsylvania too! Join them for an extended weekend of 3Ds, competitions, trick shooting, primitive camping, live music, and novelty shoots. It's worth the trip!
